We’ll celebrate the birth of the Church during this worship service. Read Acts 2 to find out more. Everyone wears red, which is the liturgical color for the day. This will also be our Graduation Sunday when we celebrate the recent college and high school graduates and will enjoy lunch then a concert with our pianist, Ema Iwasaki, after worship.

We will gather in the sanctuary for The Stations of Peter. As a nod to the “Stations of the Cross,” this liturgy highlights Peter’s role in the crucifixion narrative. It includes 6 stations, inviting you to walk “the way of sorrows” to the cross with Peter as your companion.

Our morning worship will include the liturgy of the palms to remind us of Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem, at the start of the week leading to his death, when he was met with crowds waving palms and crying “Hosanna” (Lord, save us!).

Set in 1922, Count Alexander Rostov is sentenced to live the rest of his life inside of a luxury hotel, while some of the most tumultuous decades in Russian history unfold outside the hotel’s doors.  

This book was chosen for the Columbia Public Library’s “One Read” community reading program in 2020, so we are looking forward to our discussion! Everyone’s invited to join us at 1 pm in the Omer Lay classroom (next to the Sanctuary) or on Zoom at 6:30 pm.

A contemplative service to mark the beginning of the season of Lent. Gather in the sanctuary (enter from the upper parking lot) for prayer and meditative singing and to receive ashes to remind us of our mortality.

Free community meal in the fellowship hall – enter from the lower parking lot, the door to the left under the breezeway. No, we don’t really eat groundhogs! This is our annual sausage (ground hog – get it?) and pancake supper. Donations are welcome but not expected.
