We Welcome Warren Sapp This Sunday July 6
Pastor Robin and Charlie Nilon, as Bethel delegates, are attending the ABC Mission Summit in Omaha, Nebraska. Bethel will welcome Warren Sapp to the pulpit on July 6. Our valued member who has recently been generous with his time and commitment to Bethel will lead us for the last Sunday of the Practicing Hospitality worship series, which will include our practice of Communion. Thank you, Warren!

Mark Your Calendar for Bethel's Annual Picnic, Sunday, July 27
We will meet this year at Bethel for our annual picnic. Depending on the weather, we’ll have tables set up outside for our meal after worship in the sanctuary. After the meal, lawn games and other fun games will follow. Plan to bring your favorite side dish to go with pulled pork furnished by Abbie Sullens’ father, Rusty. If you were there last year, you know how good it is! Bring your own table service, so no one gets stuck in the kitchen washing up after the meal. Drinks will also be provided.
Unfortunately, on Sunday, July 27 will also be Jeremy’s last Sunday with us. He will be pursuing his PhD in Oklahoma City in the fall. He and Amelia will move to Norman in August. Our prayers go with them. Bring a card with your goodbye messages to let him know how much he will be missed!
Land Update
The amended contract has been signed. The sewer plan has now been approved by the city. We should close on or before August 30. One more step towards our goal! God continues to bless us as we move through this process. We are thankful for faithful givers.

July Book Club News
The Bethel Book Club will be joining the CoMo community "One Read" in July with Daniel Mason's North Woods!! Here's a blurb:
"When two young lovers abscond from a Puritan colony, little do they know that their humble cabin in the woods will become the home of an extraordinary succession of human and nonhuman characters alike. An English soldier, destined for glory, abandons the battlefields of the New World to devote himself to growing apples. A pair of spinster twins navigate war and famine, envy and desire. A crime reporter unearths an ancient mass grave—only to discover that the earth refuses to give up their secrets. A lovelorn painter, a sinister con man, a stalking panther, a lusty beetle: As the inhabitants confront the wonder and mystery around them, they begin to realize that the dark, raucous, beautiful past is very much alive.
This magisterial and highly inventive novel from Pulitzer Prize finalist Daniel Mason brims with love and madness, humor and hope. Following the cycles of history, nature, and even language, North Woods shows the myriad, magical ways in which we’re connected to our environment, to history, and to one another. It is not just an unforgettable novel about secrets and destinies, but a way of looking at the world that asks the timeless question: How do we live on, even after we’re gone?"
Join us on Wednesday, July 23 at 1 p.m. for what promises to be an interesting discussion! Because this is a community-wide reading event, multiple copies in all formats should be readily available at the library!

Mobility Worldwide
If anyone has gallon or half gallon plastic jugs they want to donate to Mobility Worldwide, bring them to church and Linda Coats will deliver them. They must be empty, clean and dry and lids must be included. They are used as packing for the mobility cars shipped to Kenya.
